Hand-waved Capitol CR Chart

Bruce has been living in the Capitol for 25 years. He's been high-profile since birth, on every who's who list. He is also both outspoken about his disdain for the Games AND very, very, very generous with his money and investments.

This is a place for me to gather up where he stands with people who live in the Capitol!

Azula, Mentor - Knows of him, has not personally met him. Bruce knows of her, but has been too busy to meet her.

Jolie, Stylist - Acquaintances. They get along fairly well and have run across each other at parties.

Stephen Reagan, Escort - childhood acquaintances in that way where your parents are friends and you keep ending up in the same place. Casual friends in adulthood, but never really close.

Cyrus Reagan, Politician - casual acquaintances with a good business understanding. Bruce funded some of Cyrus's projects, while Cyrus helped soften the edges of his public image.

Cyrus Reagan, politician - Similar to Stephen in that they probably ran in the same circles while they were growing up, and see each other at parties exclusively for the wealthy and influential.

I don't know how you feel about this - but it might be that Bruce and Cyrus have a business history, as well as a casual personal one. Cyrus's personal feelings about the Games are neutral-negative (though he never lets this become apparent in his public persona); knowing that they had that somewhat in common, he might have approached Bruce in the past either to back some political project of his financially (something intended to benefit the Districts that lacked government funding, for example), or just to use his influence on Cyrus' behalf for a similar purpose.

Bruce may or may not have gone along with this; but how do you feel about the idea of their having had professional dealings in the past? If that sounds interesting to you, do you think they would have ended in a cordial business acquaintance, or some kind of bad feeling?

If it's alright, I'd like to assume Wesker has at least heard of him, even if they haven't met personally. Wesker stalks the network and makes it a point to know the movers-and-shakers by name and reputation if nothing else.

Jennifer Blackwood was formerly the escort for D9 before her promotion to D2. She is the daughter of a deceased cohort of Snow's and is now the wife of a rising political figure, Arturas Blackwood. She was retired from escorting for a couple of years before being pressed into service as the "Tribute Comfort and Care Administrator". Basically it's a fancy title for glorified escort on a larger scale.

Bruce and Jennifer likely ran in the same circles, as she's also childhood friends with (and formerly dated Stephen) the Reagan brothers. She would not have been incredibly close with Bruce, as she comes from a political background, but they'd be casual friends at the very least.

Jessica Wakefield is a mentor and former victor from District 3. She's a spokesmodel for several luxury brands and her face can be seen in advertisements across the Capitol. She's a staple of the Capitol party scene and would at the very least be highly recognizable. She also suffers the indignity of having been bid on frequently, especially during her late teens/early twenties and still carries baggage from that.

She would likely have, at the very least, casually met Bruce. If you'd be interested, I think it would be neat for him to maybe have bid on her at some point and done the whole ~save haven weekend~ thing. Lord knows, she'd have needed it.

Calico probably knows Bruce a bit. When she won her games, she hit the party scene hard! She's well known throughout the capitol for binge drinking and doing drugs - though some instances of her wild antics are works of tabloid fiction.

Cal came out quite anti- rebellious a couple of years back and as a result, her parents and brother and his wife and kids were killed in a factory explosion in D8. She's shut up since.

Coming back to D8, Cal is LOUD in public and eager to show that she's still up for a good time, even if she is getting old (29).

She's probably seen Bruce around a fair bit! He has most probably seen her!
